MOUNT HOLLY, NJ – September 2, 2020 – David Richter, the Republican nominee for Congress in New Jersey’s Third District, announced today that he has received the endorsement of the Burlington County Young Republicans (BCYR).
“The Burlington County Young Republicans are pleased to endorse David Richter for New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District. David’s career as a proven leader in business demonstrates his ability to stand on his own and as a political outsider, David presents our best chance to stand up to Nancy Pelosi and the radical left’s agenda. We look forward to supporting David’s candidacy against the duplicitous Andy Kim, who continues to fail as a leader by caving to the demands of a party out-of-touch with the needs of working people. As constituents, we expect better, and in David Richter, we have found better.” Said BCYR Chairman Stephen Parrey.
Richter added, “I am excited to get the support of the Burlington County Young Republicans. They have a proven track record of helping candidates across Burlington County succeed. The enthusiasm from a younger generation getting involved in electrifying. Their grassroot efforts will be critical to ensure that radical liberal Andy Kim does not get to go back to Washington. I look forward to working with them throughout the fall.”
Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International. During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees. A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District. He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard. Richter and his wife Michelle, who have been married for 20 years, are the parents of four teenage daughters.
