TOMS RIVER, NJ – October 5, 2020 – David Richter for Congress released the following statement following last night’s debate in the Third District.
“Last night Andy Kim’s record of failure and inability to deliver results for the district was on full display,” said Tom Bonfonti, Richter Campaign Manager. “In contrast, voters learned about David’s proven record of success creating thousands of jobs and saving his family construction business.”
“During last night’s debate the voters heard about David’s vision for the district, they heard about his experience in the private sector as a political outsider who turned around a struggling business and built it into a thriving powerhouse in the construction industry employing over 4,000 people, and they heard once and for all that David will fight to protect the rights of people with pre-existing conditions to access health insurance,” added Bonfonti.
Summarizing the debate, Assemblyman Ryan Peters said, “Last night the voters of the Third District saw two different visions for their future. David Richter is an honest leader with the experience needed to rebuild our economy as we recover from the pandemic. Congressman Kim went back on his word on his very first vote in Congress. The voters of the Third District deserves better. They deserve David Richter as their next Congressman.”
