MOUNT HOLLY, NJ – September 30, 2020 – David Richter, the Republican nominee for Congress in New Jersey’s Third District, announced today that he has received the endorsements of Assemblyman Ryan Peters and Assemblywoman Jean Stanfield of the Eighth Legislative District.
“It has been clear throughout the coronavirus pandemic that New Jersey and the nation need more voices from the business community to rise up. As a successful businessman, David Richter is well equipped to lead South Jersey on a path of economic stability through these unprecedented times,” Stanfield said.
“There may not be a more important year to come together and unite as one party. We have to gain ground and add New Jersey Republican leadership in the halls of Washington, DC. I’m confident David Richter is the guy to do that and win back the Third District,” offered Peters.
Richter added, “I am honored to have the support of both Jean and Ryan and am thankful to have their advice as we move towards Election Day. As both Sheriff and Assemblywoman, Jean has been a leader in the community, protecting our most vulnerable. Ryan’s entire life has involved serving those around him, from his military service to his service as an elected official. I look forward to working with them when I get to Congress to improve the lives of Burlington County citizens.
Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International. During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees. A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District. He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard. Richter and his wife Michelle, who have been married for 20 years, are the parents of four teenage daughters.
