Lacey Township, NJ – March 12, 2020 – Today Mayor Steve Kennis, Deputy Mayor Pete Curatolo, Committeemen Mark Dykoff, Nick Juliano and Tim McDonald issued a joint endorsement of David Richter for Congress in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District.
“David Richter is the only candidate in this race who can beat Andy Kim. His experience as a businessman and political outsider are the qualities that will propel him to victory,” said Mayor Kennis.
Committeeman Juliano, also a candidate appearing on the ballot in 2020, added, “I’m looking forward to campaigning with David. He has already attended multiple events in town and I know we will be appearing together at many more functions between now and Election Day.”
“I thank all my friends in Lacey for their support,” said Richter. “The shutdown and decommissioning of Oyster Creek presents a unique problem to this community. The threat of delays and cost overruns looms large over the residents. I will bring my decades of experience working in project management to make sure the process is completed in the safest and quickest way possible.”
Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International. During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees. A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District. He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard. Richter and his wife Michelle, who have been married for 20 years, are the parents of four daughters.
