Hainesport, NJ – March 9, 2020 – David Richter, Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District, announced today that he has received the endorsement of Hainesport Township Committeeman Ted Costa.
“At last, we have a congressional candidate who will not only protect our citizens from jailed alien criminals, but protect our great beaches too from environmental hazards. David is truly a candidate for the people of New Jersey,” said Costa. “People are fed up with our State’s sanctuary status which makes it easier for alien criminals to be released from our jails. Time and time again, we see illegals with lengthy arrest records being released into our communities to commit further crimes, despite a federal detainer being issued to keep them in jail. We need David Richter to help stop this madness.”
Costa has served Hainesport Township in a variety of capacities for over 20 years. He has worked as Prosecutor, then as Township Attorney, and then eventually successfully ran for Hainesport Township Committee.
“I am very appreciative of Ted’s support and look forward to earning even more support throughout the county from those who recognize that I am the best candidate in this race to defeat radical liberal Andy Kim,” said Richter.
Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International. During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees. A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District. He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard. Richter and his wife Michelle, who have been married for 20 years, are the parents of four daughters.
