EVESHAM, NJ – July 3, 2020 – David Richter, Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Third District, announced today that he has received the endorsement of former Assemblyman Christopher J. Brown.
“As we have gotten closer to the end of this primary election, it has become clearer to me that David Richter is the best candidate in this race and our best chance to defeat Andy Kim in November,” said Brown. “David’s business experience creating jobs right here in Evesham Township is exactly what we need in Congress helping to rebuild our economy and bring back the jobs we so desperately need right now,” Brown added.
Brown served in the New Jersey Assembly from 2012 to 2016 representing the Eighth Legislative District. He also served as a Burlington County Freeholder from 2009 to 2012 and as Deputy Mayor of Evesham Township from 2007 to 2008.
“I just want to thank Chris for his support and I am honored to have received his endorsement,” said Richter.
Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International. During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees. A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District. He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard.
