TOMS RIVER, NJ – August 10, 2020 – David Richter, the Republican nominee for Congress in New Jersey’s Third District, announced today that veteran campaign operative Angelo Lamberto has joined his campaign as Deputy Campaign Manager.
“Angelo brings the experience in and knowledge of Burlington County that our campaign needs to secure victory in November. During the Blue Wave election of 2018, Andy Kim’s performance in Burlington County is what put him over the top in a very close election. With Angelo on board, we look forward to uniting Burlington County Republicans behind my campaign and making sure that we outperform in the county and win the district overall,” said Richter.
Lamberto, who most recently served as Campaign Manager for Kate Gibbs during the primary, said, “I’m excited for this opportunity to work with David and help flip this seat back for the Republicans. We are going to need to work together as one party to ensure that we send a principled Republican to Congress – a candidate who believes in defending our law enforcement, cutting taxes, and standing up for our veterans – and that candidate is David Richter.”
Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International. During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees. A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District. He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard. Richter and his wife Michelle, who have been married for 20 years, are the parents of four teenage daughters.
